Those who enjoyed the VeggieTale videos/DVDs, 'Where's God When I'm S-scared?', 'Are You My Neighbour?' and 'God Wants Me To Forgive Them?' now have the opportunity, courtesy of Big Ideas, to re-live some of the songs from those releases. The first part, after the theme song, consists of seven tracks taken from 'S-scared' starting with childhood fears and covering the story of Daniel and the lion's den. The rest of the tracks allude to Bible stories without covering as fully as the first set, therefore somewhat skating over important issues of friendship and forgiveness. There are of course silly songs too including "The Water Buffalo Song" and "The Hairbrush Song". Veggie Tales it seems to me is much like marmite (or even vegetables). There are those who love them and there are those who don't. You know which you are, and whether this mini-release, just 24 minutes, is for you.
