Normally at the prospect of reviewing a kids album you'll find me cowering under a table but this is different! He Veggies Tales video series is aimed at kids up to eight years old but it's strange because all my grown up (I use the phrase loosely!) friends love them! So it's kids of all ages that'll get something out of this. If you're looking for children's material which teaches strong biblical principles but with real life applications then look no further. The Veggies also combine excellent cartoon graphics with the quirkiest sense of humour. I mean really outrageous offbeat! This album is a selection of songs from the videos so the best thing is to get the vids and buy the tape for the kids to sing in the car. My fave bit is when Larry the cucumber sings silly songs like the awesome "Hairbrush Song". The songs here are funny but spiritual and if I had kids, I wouldn't mind driving round town singing along with them. In any other setting, talking to tomatoes would be certifiable. Here, I defy you no to enjoy them. My only quibble is that the album is over too soon.
