A seven track EP from a trio from Texas who play an interesting brand of indie rock in enthusiastic style, with upfront lyrics and a good line in grungy guitar driven material. The sleevenotes don't tell me who does what, but the vocals hit home over a fuzz-laden lead with crisp drums and bass, and the songs leave us in no doubt where these guys are coming from. Having said that, the closing track 'The Sellout Song' is a slow lounge blues instrumental that's totally different from the other six! There must be a joke in there somewhere, doubtless Mr Rimmer could investigate for his Independents Day show and let us know. If you like punk, grunge or fun indie, this could be with a punt.
