When you've been around as long as Vickie Winans then making quality music comes easy. As you might expect only the best musicians are used and this being a Christmas project all the family make their guest appearances. Whilst there are a fair number of familiar Christmas favourites here most of them sound a bit smaltzy (which is largely to be expected) and it is the more uptempo original material that impresses being tight, funky and catchy. As with virtually all Christmas albums that you will ever hear the need to include the old worn out songs means that you're never going to get a classic but as Christmas albums go this is pleasant enough and does at least include some decent new stuff to keep you going until the diva's next proper album.
