As many will know, Vinesong are led by John Watson and originate from South Africa but have been based in the UK for the past few years. They travel throughout the UK and Europe ministering in song. Vinesong recorded four best-selling albums with Kingsway, three from which Kingsway have taken the "best" and produced a compilation album. If Kingsway think they have made the album with the "best" of Vinesong's three albums then I would dread to think how awful the rest of the songs are. John Watson has tried mixing African music with Western music, and it doesn't work. I found it almost impossible to worship to this music as some of the songs were like nursery rhymes. Many have been touched by Vinesong's ministry, for me their music was twee and vacuous.
