This live album of 14 thoughtfully chosen, brand new songs comes from 11writers, the most well known being Brenton Brown, who co-produces with Nigel Hemming and Paul Burton. It progresses from previous offerings,'Hungry' and 'Come, Now Is The Time' as part of the new sound for a growing generation who fly in the face of the trend for young people to be leaving the UK Church. The growth is encouraged by gifted and confident young writers, singers and musicians being increasingly used in contemporary worship and so being shared with us all. The writing faithfully communicates gospel messages and it's wonderfully moving to hear such creative arrangements from a team who've only just started to make their impact. Some songs have a gentleness, with awesome lead vocals, male and female but the deepest impact of the album is the stronger use of guitar-led rock music. I just can't list all the great contributions to this album. You will have your preferences from the tracks as they grow on you. The title track is a stunning piece of worship led by Marc James. He and drummer Jimmy Cooke, the nucleus of the band Dust, also feature on other tracks.
