Vision are a five-piece band of sold out 15 and I6 year olds who hail from Kent. Already they have been gigging around their Maidstone base with a view to travelling further afield. Like many independent releases, this suffers a little from the low budget production but Vision are to be commended for their musicianship which belies their age! They've also chosen to write their own songs in a chunky pop rock fashion but the impact is lost because of two factors. The album's production is a little sludgy in places and I'm not convinced that singer Adam Pearless is up to scratch. Having said that, one of the outstanding tunes on this album is when the band relax and present us with the prayerful Pearless penned "Burning Desire". Other tracks that stand out are the bass driven "Angels" (including an instrumental version) and "Preacha" features some nice keyboard touches from Danny Sewell and good guitar work from Matthew Hill. This is a good start from Vision who promise much in their passion to communicate Christ.
