Though not quite on the cutting edge of the dance genre, this piece of vinyl holds some quite nice garage/house mixes. It's a neatly produced record, the song is a good one (an old gospel classic, I believe) and the arrangements are generally well thought out. However, two of the four mixes are rendered unplayable (in my opinion) by the all-too-prominent cheesy synthesised saxophone sound: the tune is good, but the sound is like a mouldy blue-vein! The "original" and the "Detroit Special" mixes have a more pleasing vibe, but that sound still haunts the last few minutes of each track. Shame. Everything else is near perfect.
