This is the final release of Watermark, the husband and wife team of Nathan and Christy Nockels. Watermark have been blessing the Christian music scene with their talents since 1997. Receiving Dove Awards and having been successful writers, recording artists, producers, worship leaders, etc and raising a young family they now choose to end that season. As Christy says, "Nathan and I have loved every part of the Watermark journey. However in the past year God has made it very clear that we can't do it all." This collection of finely honed songs was recorded live in August 2005 before a gathering of friends at their home church in Franklin, Tennessee. Guest artists include Passion worship leader Chris Tomlin who co-wrote the beautiful "Captivate Us", and that girl pop outfit Point Of Grace who appear on "Who Am I", a song they recorded several years ago. Also making appearances here are the acoustic duo Shane & Shane, on the passionate "Arise And Be Comforted", and hitmaking record producer Ed Cash, a member of their home church, appears on the profound "The Purest Place". All in all an excellently produced collection of quality songs that really do encapsulate all that Watermark are about: finely crafted music and gratitude to God for allowing them to take this journey - really a grateful people.
