This album is lavishly produced with a choir and band (although the production lacks bass leaving a rather sparse sound). The congregation/audience are appreciative and excited. The lyrics are theologically sound and are encouraging people to praise God. However, I’m afraid that it did not catch my interest or enthuse me with anything other than the proximity of the off switch. If you are someone who likes big American choirs singing songs with similar tunes and tempos, then you will like this album. To me it was too much the same and the sound hadn’t moved on to give a contemporary feel. I really didn’t like it at all. I think it must be one of those albums that you will either love or loathe immediately.
