Five seconds into this CD and I'm wondering if they've borrowed the opening riff from the Velvet Underground. 15 seconds into the CD and I'm wondering if they borrowed the lead singer as well! This isn't the only audible similarity to other artists - at a few points, some songs sound almost like cover versions. But overall, this album from Liverpool City:Life Church's worship team is definitely worth a wider audience - if you like contemporary worship in a Delirious/Kevin Prosch style then you'll like this. If they can build on the originality, there's a great deal of potential here.
