Reviewed by David Bain With a chunky beat and infectious hook, 'Reflection', Willie Will's debut on Beatmart, kicks off with a bang. Building on three solo releases, this album blends hard rhythms with a distinctive, quick-fire rapping style. "Move Somethin'", with it's call to be active for God, is set to be a massive, holy hip-hop anthem, while the more reflective "All For You" reminds us of God's grace. "Blame Game" catches Willie spitting honest lyrics about the many hypocritical attitudes that can be present in the church. Guest spots come from K-Drama, Sheree Hinton, Jazz Digga and Soul P. Willie Will aims his words at believers and unbelievers, treading a thin line between the two. It's a tough job, but one that he just about pulls off. Certainly an exciting new voice in hip-hop.
