A follow up to 'Bridge', this cassette, which describes itself as Britpop, is a must. The band must be a must too. The recording at Purple Rain, Yarmouth, is a credit to the uncredited engineer, and all the self-penned songs are beyond excellent. Trevor Kirk reviewed the debut 'Bridge' album, describing WWE as a U2/REM/22 Top/Beatles amalgam. I would add Billy Bragg, Be-Bob De Luxe and Neil Inned to the list, but the electric styles are unfair comparisons. All the vocals are clean, dynamic, in tune and lyrics will definitely speak to the young unsaved. Bookers, book them now. Cassette buyers, buy a copy now. May God move saints to pray that Tony Hood not only fronts the band superbly, but that he gives faithful witness to the risen Lord on whichever main stage he stands.
