After listening to this CD, I am quite puzzled about who the target audience is. The backing music is rocky and energetic, with heavy guitars and drums, but the vocals are all by children estimated to be around 10 years old. And their vocals are really loud in relation to the backing music. Furthermore, the songs are "adult' (or maybe "youth") songs, as written by Delirious?, Matt Redman, Chris Tomlin, David Crowder and so on. I'd have thought that people old enough to appreciate the music and the songs would be way to old to accept the young children's vocals, and children young enough to like such singing would find the songs too "grown up" and "boring". Predictably, such a recording comes from America, but at least the accents aren't too grating for us fussy British listeners. One mystery is the quality of the singing: every note is perfectly pitched and positioned. Either the featured singers are amazing child prodigies or there has been some prolonged use of electronic trickery. If so, I can't help feeling sorry for the sound engineers who had to work on such a project!
