If you're looking for a CD compilation of the best of modern worship in contemporary stylings, look no further than this! Here is a well-chosen 22-track double CD offering of familiar and less familiar worship repertoire, where even the more familiar songs are delivered in less familiar versions. Take for example the Superchic[k] cover of Matt Redman's "Holy Moment" that we are more used to hearing as the duet with Jeff Deyo on Redman's 'The Father's Song' CD. Deyo himself appears singing a live version of "These Hands", Stuart Townend sings in a fresh recording of "How Long", and well-known worship leaders/songwriters like Tim Hughes, Ian White, Twila Paris and Martyn Layzell sit alongside the more contemporary realms of Nichole Norderman, David Crowder, Newsboys and Rebecca St James. The second CD concludes with a reminder of the current "Celticization" of the worship scene with the well-established duo Townend and Getty's "In Christ Alone", sung by Margaret Becker, Maire Brennan and Iona's Joanne Hogg.
