Zion is a rapper from Savannah, Georgia and here offers an impressive album that shouts out a challenge both to the Church and to those who don't believe in Christ. The album gets off to an explosive start with the big and bold "My Legacy" followed by "Controversy", targeted at those who say they believe but whose actions don't demonstrate Christ. This is a well produced album with a contemporary edge which takes you on a journey. Tracks bringing a slower vibe are "Love Letter" (reflecting the message of Jesus dying for us) and "Strangers", both with engaging hooks. Zion has a powerful yet easy flow, evidenced on tracks like "Bury Me" where Zion confronts lukewarm Christians and preachers. Zion's album is biblical, Christ-centred and takes no prisoners in its dirty south-style passion for God.
