A four-track CD EP from one of Australia's most compelling alternative rock acts. Hard, heavy, a touch of Seattle and a dash of death metal and you get the idea that this is the recipe for some exciting music. From the opening crunch of grungy "Sister Bleach" with its funky rock riffing from Paul Grech and occasional Led Zeppisms floating around in the background, this is an excellent slab of modern rock which never lets up for a moment. The riff still rules for Zoot Ax and whilst Nunz D and Michael Di Frederico are a flexible and tight rhythm section, it's Grech's guitar and Francis Co's guttural vocals which really hit home here. "Centre Breaks" is intense and dark whilst "Explode" is lighter despite its furiously energetic delivery. The EP closes with more heavy rifforama on the brain battering "Smash The Mould". Heavy man!
