Yet another young Christian screamo/hardcore band to bite the dust in the face of today's sapping music scene, afailedperfection's offering suffers from a sub-par production on a clearly minute budget. However, this is not the only problem with the EP; most of the songs have a slightly aimless feel, with few clearly defined riffs or song structure. The vocals are frequently (and painfully) out of tune, and the melodies rather non-descript. When they breakdown things look up a little, but said breakdowns are few and far between and generally eschewed in favour of more wandering passages of badly harmonised wailing.
