This then is the ULTIMATE collection which presumably means it is far superior to all the other compilations and reissues by dc Talk that have proceeded it ('Intermission: The Greatest Hits', 'Greatest Hits' and special edition, Two For One albums, 'The Early Years', '8 Great Hits' and 'dc Talk Greatest Hits 12 Songs'). Forgive my sarcasm but this release smacks of EMI CMG bringing the milking bucket to the CCM cash cow one time too often. This collection only covers their later period (nothing before "Free At Last') but this is creatively their best period and there is not a duff song in earshot. However, I can't get that excited about "Sugarcoat It" and "Chance". Perhaps for newcomers this compilation may be a good place to hear the legendary CCM band at their best but for everyone else there's nothing new here. The music would score 10 on its own but the usefulness of this compilation scores nil.
