If it’s yet to be explained to you, the iworship series bring you compilations of worship recordings with “breathtaking video for personal use or in church and group settings” on a bonus DVD. Musically, it’s an odd bunch of Christmas fare ranging from a country gospel version of “Do You Hear What I Hear” by Ross Parsley to an instrumental version of the “Halleluyah Chorus” plucked from a ‘Christmas Brass’ album. Probably the best thing here is “O Holy Night” performed by MercyMe while the most difficult to take was the decidedly uninspired “Light Of The Word” original by the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir. Oh, and the visual images you get are shots of bauble-laden Christmas trees, nativity scenes and, er, clouds and sky. An acquired Yuletide taste.
