This offering certainly doesn't lack quantity, comprising a 16-track, 76-minute CD and 12-track DVD (live worship videos and sound-plus-words song movies). It does, however, lack much variety, which may or may not be a problem for the listener. If you like your worship pretty much one-dimensional (awestruck), don't much care for the female voice and cannot imagine an accompaniment from anything except a loud electric guitar then this collection is for you. Some of the tracks are already well-known in churches around the world ("Hosanna", "Mighty To Save", "Our God Saves" and "Your Grace Is Enough" are good examples) and rightly so, but my beef is that the album is sub-titled 'The Sights And Sounds Of Worship' and this collection (like many other similar ones available) in actual fact barely scratches the surface of the myriad of elements involved in the worship of God - worship is much more than loud songs comprising line after line of statements of adoration building to a big chorus. On the plus side, the live worship DVD performances are naturally very polished and thankfully here some texture is introduced, and the extras (including songsmith Paul Baloche talking us through his song "Rising") are interesting. If your bag is as described above then you'll love this; if your taste is for more eclectic content, best leave alone.
