On Friday November 30th at Mulberry house in High Ongar, Essex, CBC (Christian Broadcasting Council) and Cross Rhythms joined forces to present their 2007 Music Awards. This was the first time that Cross Rhythms had decided and presented annual awards and they were given in four categories, all for UK artists. Here are 2007's winners:
Best Worship Album Award
Gold: Tim Hughes – Holding Nothing Back (Survivor)
Silver: Matt Redman – Beautiful News (Survivor)
Bronze: Vicky Beeching – Painting The Invisible (Survivor)

Best Gospel Album Award
Gold: Four Kornerz – Soulectric (Authentic)
Silver: Jahaziel – Ready To Live (Authentic)
Bronze: Priscilla Jones – Prophecy (Independent)
Best Contemporary Album Award
Gold: Thebandwithnoname - Dying To Be There (Authentic)
Silver: The Gentlemen – Smile Back At Me (Authentic)
Bronze: Foy Vance – Hope (Wurdamouth)

Best Music Video/DVD Award
Gold: Abundant Life – Send Me (Authentic)
Silver: Various – Mission:Worship Worship At The Abbey (Kingsway Music)
Bronze: Martyn Joseph – Live (ICC)
