Advanced Listening Guide

Listening via FM

If you live in Stoke-on-Trent or Newcastle-under-Lyme, you can pick up Cross Rhythms City Radio on 101.8FM. If your radio has an RDS display (usually found on in-car radios), you'll see us listed as XRHYTHMS.

Listening via the Internet

If you have a suitable computer, you can listen to us over the Internet. Click here for more information.

Listening via Satellite

Yyou can pick up Cross Rhythms radio using a digital satellite receiver using these details:

Satellite:

Eurobird

Position: 28.5 East
Coverage: UK, Ireland, Northern/Central/Western Europe (coverage map)
Transponder: D12S
Frequency: 11681
Polarisation: Vertical
Symbol Rate: 27.5
FEC: 2/3

Eurobird 28.5 east is part of the Astra/Eurobird cluster which broadcasts Sky, BBC, ITV, etc satellite channels to the UK. If you have a satellite dish previously installed for any of these, then it will already be in the right position to receive Cross Rhythms Radio.

Satellite:

Eurasiasat 1

Position: 42 East
Coverage: Central/Southern/Eastern Europe, Middle East (coverage map)
Transponder: 28
Frequency: 12621
Polarisation: Vertical
Symbol Rate: 6.1
FEC: 3/4

The coverage of Eurasiasat 1 overlaps with that of Eurobird in much of Europe, but has a wider footprint and will probably give a stronger signal for more easterly and southern locations.
