Welcome to Close Encounters.

Each week I get to hear the life stories of some truly remarkable people. Some of my guests you might already have heard of through the work they do, others are hidden away from the public eye living extraordinary lives. All of them have been amazing to spend time with.

I remember when I first became a Christian I kept hearing the same few people share their testimony and thought it was only for the chosen few to be able to tell their stories; until one day I read:

‘They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.’ Revelation 12:11

I realised then that no matter what’s happened in our journeys, each of us has incredible things to tell. Everyone has a story. This programme is a showcase for that.
