Jan, a potteries lass, born and bred, is protective about the city she loves, and actively involved in the local community in several areas. She is passionate about radio that broadcasts a positive, life changing message - and is therefore very happy to be on board with Cross Rhythms.

Jan is a Worship Leader and Preacher at Swan Bank Methodist Mission in Burslem, an after dinner/conference motivational speaker, and a former member of a Christian rock band. Jan describes herself as having a vibrant, everyday relevant, Christian faith, and a love of life generally.

She is very happily married to Steve (the love of her life, whom she has known since she was just 15!)

Other loves include:- family, animals, cooking, bargain hunting, and Canada (after Stoke!)

Jan presents Community Choice each week day 11 - 2pm.

A programme which links in to the things that are happening around Stoke on Trent and Newcastle Under Lyme, and which aims to support those who are working to build a positive community atmosphere. Promoting and helping support relationships in local industry and business. Reflecting partnerships for the good of all, and where 'the Bible hits the Headlines' - encompassing every day topics and events, that are culturally relevant.
The subjects covered are varied, and range from health, well being, education and financial issues, to what to do on a rainy day! Random topics abound - stick with her, there is always a purpose!
