Ben Nevis Listener Feedback

"Heya Jon! Awesome job on Ben Nevis! I was thrilled that ya'll made it up and down safely. :-) It was soo amazing to listen in to that. It was a really early and long morning to manage (4-9 AM, followed by walking out the door to synagogue), but I don't regret it and would do it over and over again. I can't even put into words what an amazing thing it was to be able to listen in and be there in the chat showing what support I could. When I walked into shul, some people could tell something was 'off' about me yesterday. I told them I'd been up since 4 AM and on purpose and got the "you're in uni.. you're insane, oook" looks. But when I explained why I was up, looks eased. When I told them that I didn't regret it in the least, and then went on a bit about what exactly you'd done up there.. especially about bringing in the references to Rosh Hashanah and blowing the shofar even - looks turned more into amazement. I told a friend last night about it, showed her the Ben Nevis page, told her about the Rosh Hashanah stuff and then showed her the article on Rosh Hashanah and now she's bookmarked the site to check out when she has more time. :-) On the shofar - you did an amazing job! I have grown up around shofrot. I have two small ones back home even. I know they are hard to blow. Over the years I've witnessed people who have practiced for weeks or months.. or even blown them for years sometimes, fall flat on their face and not manage to get as good a set of blasts as you did. - And that's not even taking into account that they were normally all in nice warm buildings! May all your prayers and dreams for CR and Britain come to fruition! G-d bless!" Beverly

"Dear Jonathan, the broadcast on Saturday was truly inspiring. I dipped in and out three times throughout the morning, and felt that right from the start, with Mike anchoring the show at HQ, there was something really special about it all which just "got me going" in prayer etc to support you and the team as you climbed. It was great to have a number of the other Christian radio stations contribute and to hear from the existing and future CR sister stations. It made you realize that CR is at the heart of something bigger. The last time I tuned in was just before you reached the top. And listening to what was broadcast from the top of the mountain just sent Holy Spirit tingles shooting down my back! The quality of the broadcast was excellent. Well done to all involved! Well done once again, and God bless you and the wonderful team of staff and supporters at CR!!" Rob

"It was great to meet the guys at RevivalFM studio on their way to Ben Nevis. May the Lord be with them and kept them safe."

"Congratulations to all involved just sorry i could not do it today" Jon

"Hey Greg, am writing from Fort William to say how great it is that the 21 people from cross rhythms are doing this, long needed to have an overflow of christians here in Fort William, especially as they`re gonna broadcast from the top(here`s hopin!) So have a great and blessed day in Jesus!!" Marianne

"Hi Jon, As I write this, Andrea and I are sitting at the table in her best friend Pia's apt in downtown Zurich, listening to your live broadcasts from atop Ben Nevis. The Lord called me to a seven day fast yesterday morning, which I had originally thought was for our wedding a week from today. We were walking in town yesterday, and went to Grossmunster Church, a large significant historical place of martyrdom and stand for Christian truth in Zurich. We climbed up to the top of one of the towers - not as challenging as YOUR climb, but had this old war horse huffing and puffing nonetheless - and from the four corners of the tower spoke prophetically and prayed over the four corners of the city, and the nation of Switzerland. I was amazed to tune in to your broadcast today, and hear the first long prophetic prayer and declaration virtually word for word echoing what the Spirit had led us to pray! We then returned downstairs, and in the bowels of the church found an "Apostolic Prayer Chapel", with engravings of the martyrs in the walls, and furnished with rugs, blankets, kneeling pads, chairs, candles..with signs asking to "Listen to the Silence". It is Switzerland's Secret Place, the Intercessory heart of the city and the country, hidden from the view of all but God Himself. We returned today for more prayer, and as we left saw a sign proclaiming tomorrow as the Swiss National day of Prayer, Praise, and Repentance!!! Andrea recalled it is a day when the government - originated by three Swiss Christian men - acknowledges God. Your climb, my climb, the Swiss national day of prayer, all also coincide with the High Holidays of Judaism which began just a few days ago, and of course climax in a few weeks with Yom Kippur, the holiest Day of Atonement. God is indeed good, I'm sure my faithful brethren in Britain won't mind our piggy - backing on your prayers and declarations over Britain and ALL the nations as Andrea and I agree with you and ask the same for Switzerland and the continent of Europe. You have just signed off, and so will I. We pray for a safe descent, and for Christ our Intercessor to add His AMEN to all that has been spoken, declared, and prayed!!!!! Blessings!!!!" Andrea and Steven
