Comment: The Seventy Sevens first captured my attention with their first release, 'All Fall Down'. Every song a masterpiece, I word that cassette out around 1985 or so. Just now, 2015, I locate & order their 1990 release 'Sticks and Stones' - the magic is still there. Great work guys ! I will slowly make my way through the catalog of great work they have made before & since. I love their deep spiritual honesty along with their great musical vibe. Fully equivalent to any mainstream band. I think the LORD often tests his servants in this life by showing them Truth & allowing them to make Art, that is for the time being, kept in the shadows, while the more shallow works garner mainstream attention. These (now, little known) works of devotion will one day been seen in their proper value when the 'big artists' works have languished. As the Word promises: "The first shall be last & the last shall be first....." True in many aspects of this life where we inhabit a Kingdom that flourishes in disguise. To God be the Glory !
