Meet The Team

Andy originally joined the TVCM directorship as the community liaison link and stepped up to Project Director within the last year. Finding himself at the head of a multi media organisation with no bank account, money or staff, was an ‘interesting’ experience for him, but admits he likes the challenge!

Andy believes that this new organisation is not just about radio shows or making DVD’s, he believes it's about the Church within the Tees Valley serving the most in-need people within the community through workshops, training and mentoring.

Ben Jack: Station Manager Cross Rhythms Teesside

I should probably take this opportunity to introduce myself to you and explain why I chose to take on the role of station manager for Cross Rhythms Teesside.

I’ve spent the past 6 years working as part of a Christian DJ group called Aorta. This ministry saw us working both inside and outside the church exploring creative worship and evangelism within the club scene. As part of this I also spent time working with various schools and organisations working with socially excluded young people. Most recently I spent 18 months working alongside teenagers with emotional and behavioural difficulties, using DJing amongst other things as a platform for developing key skills education.

What excites me about this project is how genuinely beneficial it is to the community at large. We have a fantastic opportunity to resource and impact this community using various forms of media, training, and face-to-face support. My passion is to see the church become more community focused and I see Tees Valley Christian Media playing a valuable role in supporting the church for this purpose.
