I have both Love Song albums, and the Live album. I was at the Reuinion Tour when it came to the Bronco Bowl in Dallas back in 75 or 76. I even have Chuck Girard's autograph on a book of Love Song's music. I remember my friend and I sat about 8 rows back on the left side, just to Chuck's right side, and were able to watch his hands as he played. Awsome worship experience. Finding this page may get me to put the albums on my computer so I can make a cd to play in the van. Thanks for the article. I didn't know his daughter was part of ZOEgirl. Thanks for that info! Jim.

I have enjoyed Lovesong since I was in college...and am trying to locate the music for the Feel the Love (Live) album. I am wanting to introduce my church to this great music. If anyone can help me locate the Music Book for this Album...please contact me directly.

Love Song played a very important part in my life in the 1970's as I discovered Jesus and the music that would change my life. I am still introducing young people (those under 50) to the Love Song music and am not suprised when they just cannot believe how relevant it is today. "Think about what Jesus said" and "Changes" are two of my very favorites. I don't sing but have used the lyrics as poetry readings in sermons and other situations. God bless!

I watched a Love Song concert from 1978 at the Long Beach Memorial Auditorium on His Channel. They may have it on video on demand. It was an awesome concert as these guys did have talent.

Chucks worship songs have always had a special place in my heart and have been one place I have always turned to be spiritually re-energized. They are timeless.
I would like to hear more of them on Christian radio.

I remember the 70's Christian music with so much fondness; it was a powerful way for God to 'get' His love through all the stuff that was going on in America. I was in junior high school and active in my youth group at church but the hymns did not speak to me but Chuck Girard, Barry McGuire, 2nd Chapter of Acts, etc, did. Praise God.

My dad was a big fan of LoveSong from when he was a teen. So I grew up listening to their music and I think that even in todays society, they are one of the best (if not the best) bands ever out there! I am in my 20's and enjoy listening to LoveSong every now and then!

chuck is my all time favorite. He brings me to the throne room like no other, I miss his music today and I need it , have never found anyone that srtikes the cords within me to aid me in worship like he does..

Very interesting to read about Chuck Girard. He has one of the best and hottest lead vocal in the world I think. I liked his vocals on Hondells and other hot rod/surf music, but have also heard some Christian music he has done. I like his intonation and how he pronounce every word.

Lovesong left thier mark over her iin the UK also. They have recently released a boxset of all thier older material in the US. Pricey for us uk fans, especially with postage.Perhaps CROSSRYTHMS could become a uk distributor. Heres hoping.

Love Song will be playing on September 15th at the church I attend near Denver, CO. Can't wait - I was fortunate enough attend Calvary Chapel where Love Song played in the early 1970s. Can't wait to hear them again.
