I don't actually care what Mike has done so far, what he's doing, or what he will do. Fact is, he's a human, just like you, just like me. He isn't perfect. He sins. Yes it is understandable that some should feel hurt or betrayed by what happened, but he's publicly apologized, I accept his apology, and have forgiven him. And in my opinion, Healer is one of his greatest songs he's ever written. It's a song you can sing from the very depth of your heart. And it does have to power to affect. I have a personal testimony of the healing power of simply singing along with it. I had a very severe pain in my ear, I got prayed for, then I sat down and listened to this very song. Within the first few minutes, I could feel the pain leaving. By the end of the song, the pain had gone altogether. If I had the opportunity, I would go and give Mike a big hug and say thanks for being such a perfect example of a typical human, and for writing the song that has manifest it's power in me.

I am hoping and believing, sure as fire, that there are other people out there in this world that can share a testimony similar to mine. I also believe that God allowed this to happen to wake us up to who Mike really was: another human just like us. To be honest, I never would have expected something like this to happen. Ever. But it did. And I believe God has done a great work through it. Just remember people: Give GOD all the glory

This issue simply told us that pastors and leaders are also human.
They can sin, we can all sin.
However the mercy and grace that came out from his songs and preaching are still real, because God is the one who works but not him.
I still feel a bit upset myself, but im also appreciate to know that God is willing to use EVERYONE to deliver his message.

God is good and the same all the time. His grace is thicker than anything. This only shows that all men of God are still human and are capable of sinning. It is written in the Word that God pre-assesses a person before allowing him into testing & trials knowing that they will come out of it fine. Mike, our prayers are with you no matter what and that our hope is in God to use you greater than before in times to come. God bless you greatly!

So does this mean we're finally allowed to express our concerns about other issues and leaders too? What is the right way to go about doing so? In the past our leaders made life miserable for us if we asked questions.

Let's not gloat over this man's downfall. We do not know all of the ins and outs of what has happened although it is very serious. He needs our prayers, his family needs our prayers and the people whose lives he has touched and deceived need our prayers.

Yes it is rather sad :( what is sadder is the untold damage this will do to those who supported him and to those unsaved.

It is true that we need to base our faith on what Christ has done and finished on the cross. His grace is sufficient enough even for such a man, but in this day and age, it is equally as important to be aware of the deception of the day and time we live in.

The bible talks of those in Matthew who perform signs and wonders all in the name of Christ and yet, strange... He never knew them!!!

If we would only base our faith on the Word of God and not look to people in high places of Christian leadership, then watching a fallen man who's profession was wood, hay and stubble, wouldn't come as such a shock.

After all, they are still human!!!

It is sad that he lied to us all, including his family.

It makes me appreciate God's grace, that he may forgive even this mans sins.

The power of God is beyond our knowledge and it's sad that this man had such a faith that wasn't strong enough to be honest.

I pray for him, I pray for those this has affected.
