I was searching for Daryl Coley and saw that he been called home. While I sang with our church choir and with a gospel group here at home, we were constantly looking for music to sing that would inspire and hit the souls of the people that we were attempting to mister too. We often found that Daryl Coley's songs and his singing would not only hit them but us also. I personally at one time was able to walk and stand, but have had a number of set backs in my life that caused me to be forced to use a wheelchair. But despite this I find Daryl's music and his spirit to place me in a position of believing that one day I to will overcome all these setbacks and suffering. And I continue to let the world know that in-spite of all that we might go through, we as Daryl did should never give up or give in to the enemy. Greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world. The Lord has received a great singer, and he is no longer in pain. To God be the glory for this thing that He has done. Blessing to his family and love one's. RIP Pastor Daryl Coley.

I have not seen Daryl since childhood and recently heard of his transition. His story is so inspiring and moving. It demonstrates how God uses all of our experiences good and not so good to help us prevail. In doing so spreading light and compassion.

Mr. Coley has been instrumental in my choosing to "walk" with Jesus..."He's Preparing Me," and "Sunday Morning" helped me in a time when I thought living was just an option. Thank you sir, God used your music to save my live AND my soul.

Daryl Coley's music was instrumental in keeping me engaged in the process of learning about God and faith in the early 90's. As a new Christian, i soft out music that uplifted the name of Jesus and you could pat your feet to! Daryl's vocal rifts were legendary and you just wanted to hear more. I only heard this morning that he was at rest and I cried like a baby because he made such s mark in my life. As a singer myself, I idolized his gift and the purpose he used it for! Miss you already, rest well brother Daryl, hope to finally meet up with you in heaven.

When I heard of Daryl's passing it was like a family member had left. He sang his way into our hearts and shared countless truths from God's Word in song. I had the chance to tell him how his music helped me through a serious rough patch. His response was in essence, "That's why we do this." Oh, that we would take up the mantle and unselfishly share our gifts, expecting no glory for ourselves. All these wonderful gifts come from the Lord and all glory is to Him alone. Thank you Man of God (for the way) you blessed us to know the Lord more and more, deeper and deeper. Rest in peace.
