Look...I was a Larry Norman fan but I trust Randy and his wife Sarah. Randy has a genuine faith and I saw him in Concert and his faith and Spirit agreed with mine. When I saw Larry in concert I felt he was negative and felt a bad spirit with him. Something just didn't add up with him... just like this interview with Charles. God is the final judge but I hope for Larry's sake his faith was real and not fake!

Naming someone in your will (Daniel) when it is patently false makes no sense at all. I don't care what their (Larry and Charles) assertions are re: legal implications. Also, Charles' reluctance to submit to DNA testing due to liability is very suspect. If you love your brother and want to settle this once and for all, it isn't worth it for you to sacrifice your limited exposure for him? I would sure do that for my brother.

I'm glad your sticking up for Larry.People need to quit being so selfrrighteous. Matthew 7:1.I come from a musicians family and the hours are weird and we all love each other as brothers and sisters.. Would you jump to I'll conceived conclusions if a brother or sister were talking in the middle of the night.Like children who lean on each other ...innocence.. Get your minds out of the gutter. My Uncle turned me on to Larry Norman on 8 track..still have it.His music helps my walk with the lord. What a legacy.peace n love.

It seems that Charlie has acquired Larry's habits of double-speak and obfuscation. He rarely answers a question directly.

My thought exactly, Bob!

What a nightmare...the entire thing....and how sad. Allegations of this, allegations of that, he said, she said, they said, we did, they didn't, they did...seemingly doesnt want to end.....tragic.

Interesting and well-conducted interview. I don't have a dog in this fight so I don't really care one way or the other; and I will always remain a big fan of Larry's music, as I have been for 37 years. However, two points to make. (1) Being in L.A. in those years (70s-early 80s) and peripherally connected to this scene, the story (rumors?) about Larry and Sarah I remember first hearing about late-79/early-80, so that is not a new story first claimed in the movie. (2) Having worked in medicine many years before becoming an attorney, let me correct Charlie on DNA testing and "boiler-plate" wills; he is dead wrong and making those explanations up out of whole cloth. Beyond those corrections, who is right or wrong or morally superior or speaking in sin or??? I don't care.

I couldn't agree more. http://genealogy.about.com/od/dna_genetics/p/autosomal.htm is clear that there would be 50% certainty if an uncle were to perform the test and a company in the UK will perform the test for £375.00 http://www.dna-worldwide.com/relationship-testing/aunt-uncle -dna-test/ but it does not guarantee privacy, however, the UK would likely not share this information with American sources which is primary concern.

After viewing some clips from 'Fallen Angel' I was convinced it was a bunch of gossip and wondered, "Why?" I was by no means desillusioned by the fact that Larry apparently wasn't perfect (you mean Larry was human?). I had the pleasure of meeting him in the town of Gouda and have always (or since) been convinced of his sincerity. Yet I was pleased to read Charlies interview on these pages, confirming what I already knew. Thank you, Larry and thank you Charlie. Hold on to what you know to be true.

I can tell u why.....Larry had all kinds of enemies, from government to the music industry and also most of his enemies were in the church itself. Music industry whether it's the Christian music or secular it is a cut throat businessthe. when you add money to this its influence on people's minds whether they are Christian or non Christian has an effect on friends. And some will stop at nothing to get what they want. Larry Norman hated the secular music industry and rightly so. And the secular music industry also hated Larry Norman. Larry wasn't afraid to speak his mind and interpret the Bible as God revealed it to him and when we do this, well the saying is true friends may come and friends may go but the enemies stay for the Late Show

Sadly some of Charlie's* responses in this interview just add fuel to fire.

Trust me, I am NOT a David Di Sabatino fan - quite the opposite in - but by refusing to cooperate in DNA testing and by talking around some of the issues rather than exercising full transparency he's just adding fuel to the fire here not stomping it out.

It would be nice to get some this cleared up once and for all and, sadly, neither side is cooperating in that effort.

Hopefully someday that will change.

* Sorry man but you'll always be Charlie to me just like I'll always be "Freddy" to some - no disrespect intended, just sentimental affection rooted in the past.

I am a 50 year old man who was inspired by Larry as a kid growing up in a Christian household .... Larry's music was a breath of fresh to me .... and while my school mates were finding ACDC I was turned onto Larry's music. Still am! The guy was an artist .... funny that.... imagine, an artist who left a controversial legacy?? .... should not that be his art?? I have long since learned that Christians are NOT perfect ..... just forgiven. Larry doesn't need defending because Larry's music speaks for itself, as does all great art. It is what he left to the world and I for one am glad of it. Rock in Peace folks :)
