Rest in peace my brother it was my pleasure knowing you, and I'm sorry that your family, the gospel world and the ministry has lost you but rest well now my brother you are in the lord's house now. So we are happy for you but will miss you.

Today on December 26 , 2009 Calvin Hunt has died . He went home to be with the Lord. I cant even begin to explain how devastated I am. Calvin was like a 2nd father to me & I was blessed enough to know him personally. I will never understand why he had to go now but God does all things in his perfect will. "We shall overcome" I will never hear that song the same again. Those are forever Calvin's famous words. ( Can't wait to see you up there Calvin , I hope you save me a space in the "jujuzzi" Lmfao ! Calvin always brought a smile to my face & I'm sure God did more then smile upon Calvin. When I become a famous whatever one day & win an award for whatever I'm gonna thank Calvin for being the Godly rolemodel everyone needs. I love you forever&always Calvin Hunt

dear calvin, You came the the phila.arc march 9 2005. it was my first day there..that night i gave my life to the Lord..I work there now..almost 2 years praise God. thankyou calvin and your family...what a blessing you are to people like me...blessings. carol

Your story touches me in ways that I never thought I could be touched. I myself was crack addicted as was my sister who is also my best friend. We together watched your story and it was our life comming from your mouth. Thank you for having the courage to say what so many of us didn't have the courage to say. I love that you sang the song Mercy saw me because It continues to be my theme song in life. I love what your doing and I wanted to thank you for giving me hope when I needed it the most. God bles you because he sure used you to bless me and my sister.

I found your story very touching,as I do anyone that has visited hell.I too had a problem with this horrific,nasty,evil,life sucking drug.....I spent 9 months in a LIFE SKILLS DEVELOPMENT center .It is not a 12 step program,it is all about changing the way you think.I left december, last year ,and now foind myself playing russian roulette again....Why can't i smlie?

I have a very dear friend that I have been praying for everyday because he has a very severe crack addiction. I know that I am powerless to help him, only God can. I found your story inspirational, and I will continue to pray and try not to lose hope.

Just to add to my last comment our brother Calvin Hunt died on December 26 2009, he was 52 years old.
