Dave Eastman you old reprobate!

Glad to see that the "gate" is still open...I was going over some old songs in my head and decided to look them up on line. I found this page eventually and of course was delighted that Chris had found it too - boy did it rain at those gigs!

I'm doing a lot of guitar playing with Phil again, hopefully some gigs in the new year. Drop me a line if you get the chance.

Cheers

Martin

Hi Dave, i remember the impact your music and ministry had upon the church i attended in Whickham newcastle upon tyne. i must have been about 14yrs of age when you came to our fellowship and wonder can you remeber the camping trip to thropton with the youg people from the church? Mark Gorman was one of my friends. i would love to be able to hear some more of your music. the tape i had back then i wore out. i loved resurrection day and give me something to believe in to name a few. wow what an impact you had. remember the white cowboy boots we bought as a pressie for you from the church? godbless you .

David - it's Bob, former bass player...studio in Birkenhead etc, etc... great to see you're still alive and kickin'. I too would love a copy of the album which I don't seem to own anymore (I think I loaned it out before I emigrated). I can do the digital transfer to CD if you can get me a cassette/vinyl as the source. I think I may still have some of the rough demos we recorded at the studio back in 85/86 or so also! Drop me a note if you can..
Blessings
Peace
Bob

Hi Dave

remember the gigs we did on Robs farm in Charlwood, Surrey? It rained a lot and I think I nearly electrocuted myself on the keys. We did the Salvation Army citadel in Blackpool too I seem to remember!

I still have live recording somewhere.

Glad to hear you're still around.

The album, "Hands of God" is one of my favorite albums of all time!! I love music. The Lord gave me an ok singing voice and singing has been a blessing to me all my life. Music has played a big role in keeping joy in my heart. Thank you David Eastman. Wish we could get Hands of God on CD and more of your albums on CD. Are you still making music?
God bless, Laurie

David:

I just wanted to say what a blessing your album has been over the years to me & my family

I made a tape from the record, but it died a while back , and no way to play the LP.

Are you producing new music ? I hope so. I'll check the site.

I thought last year your daughter said here that the original tapes had gotten lost - not hard to imagine after 25 years !

Take care my brother in Christ,

David Alan

David, What a blessing your album is. I hadn't heard it in years and found on the net a friend that helped you record it and he sent me a copy! If you have any newer music I would love to hear it, you are so gifted and I loved the lyrics and music so much. I hope you are doing well and sticking to JESUS! HIS return is soon I believe!!!

Rosanna,

I was just converting my old cassettes to digital files on my computer and just finished "The Hands of God" when I thought I'd try to research David Eastman. It led me to this site. You say your Dad has recorded other music, are there any clips on the available? Do you or your dad had a website? Thank you,
Glenn Hudgins
