Limerick's the Corrigan Brothers creating a stir with "Jesus Freak" song

THE IRISH music group the Corrigan Brothers, who unexpectedly scored a massive international hit with their song "There's No One As Irish As Barak Obama" (five million hits on YouTube), are now causing huge interest with the song "Jesus Freak" from the band's new album. Said the band's Ger Corrigan, "I was in London for a weekend and on Oxford Street an elderly man was holding a sign saying 'the end is nigh.' He was mostly being ignored but he did try to engage with everyone who passed. I engaged in conversation with him and he told me that he dedicated his life to spreading the Lords' message. When I got home I wrote the song with my brothers Brian and Donny. His perseverance inspired me!" "Jesus Freak" is currently getting plays on Aled Jones' Good Morning Sunday programme on BBC Radio 2, Jones describing it as "the song that the whole of Britain is going crazy for." CR
