A long time comin' indeed. The songs on this 1995 release span 20 years of composing from the Californian singer. Indeed, his songs often sound like they come straight out of the Jesus music era, simple declarations of faith with melodies and arrangements that straddle country, pop and folk. Some neat electric guitar work and a sound that is endearing and timeless, if not groundbreaking.

I am a new christian. i was baptized on 12/07/09. I was researching Calvary Chapel when i came across Lonnie Frissbie and got very interested in his life. Then I came across Dan Ryan Brooks and listened to a sample of his song. I am goin to buy the albums, I think his voice is awesome and the words about our Lord Jesus fantastic. May Jesus bless you all. Love Rosalyn xxx

"A Long Time Comin'" was my first album, reflecting my roots in early Jesus Music born out of the seventies folk-rock era. Included are eleven original songs, with an upbeat country-rock feel. It also contains several mellow acoustic songs of testimony. Crisp electric leads and solid percussion fill out the cuts on this uplifting album. The early Bee Gees sound, as well as Elvis and BJ Thomas, are obvious influences you will hear in my vocal style.

I have added a second album in 2006, known as "I Will Go On," which is also a Christian acoustic CD. It chronicles my struggle with Parkinson's Disease and contains nine new songs. The album was released by Lemon Lounge Records.
