This is a video of congregational singing in a sort of rocked up Songs Of Praise style, but without the displayed words, intros of songs or any spoken word input. If you like glitzy, good looking, manufactured, well dressed, designer, brand new hairdo worship, then you will probably enjoy this immensely, for here is a media advertising dream congregation where only the beautiful, the groomed and the young are on display. It's hard not to be reminded of Logan's Run, where everyone is bumped off at the age of 30- just where are the 40s, 50s and 60s+ at Hill's Christian Life Centre? Although the songs themselves are sung with a certain conviction ("The Power And The Glory" being the best of a moderate, in house set). The media of TV and video tends, generally, to portray passionately sung worship as a group of charicature Christian crazies off their trolley, no matter how it's dressed up, and this dog's dinner of an offering is no exception. All in all, you are left with the feeling that, compared with this contextless collection of schmaltzy, Sydney soap song; maybe Thora Hird and Sir Harry have got it right all along.

I am looking for a VHS tape of Hillsong People Just Like Us. If someone has possession of this VHS tape, all I am asking is to Please upload it to YouTube in its entirety. I would be interested in paying big bucks of one.
Thanks, Jay
