Released to coincide with his latest British tour, it gets off to a belter of a start with "The Greatest Cowboy Of Them All" which Johnny previously recorded on his superb double album 'A Believer Sings The Truth'. Otherwise it's mainly new material apart from a re-working of one of his very early records "Hey Porter" and Bob Dylan's "Wanted Man" - a classic cut from his 'San Quentin' prison album. There's a great new gospel song "Going By The Book" which is very up to date with its references to war and famines. His best album for some time.
