Classifying this as R&B is limiting as many tracks are on more of a soul/swing tip and some proudly parade their African origins. Limit X were first featured in CR13 when they released a swing track for the clubs followed by their first album. Now with the help of N-Soul Records they have produced a well polished album packed full of good tracks. Lyrically the album is far from wishy washy with a strong focus on coming to Jesus and following him. But one weakness is that the emphasis is on him being the one who will relieve us of our troubles without declaring that he is the one who deals with our sin. Best tracks? Well, there are many to choose from, but the title track with its happy African flavour is my choice. A serious fan of black music that I played it to rated "Clap Your Hands" with its rousing preach at the beginning and "Fallen In Love" which moves from slow swing to an African chant. Limit X are brimming with potential, and they clearly want to preach the gospel, so let's pray for them. I award N-Soul a gold star for signing them.

Saw them live in Vancouver many years ago with my teenaged niece and nephew. We rocked with them from the upper balcony of the church. I am sorry to hear that they are no longer together as I am listening to one of their cd's right now. Blessings to all of the "boyz" of Limit X wherever they are serving God now.

Fun, High Energy Christian group
They were great live in Tokyo, but I believe they are based in Africa.
