New Zealander Natasha Barrington's two track CD single highlights a passionate voice and a smart pop sensibility when it comes to songwriting. The title song "Mercy" is a vulnerable crying to God set in a Natalie Imbruglia style setting and works well. Meanwhile "Don't Want To Miss It" is equally catchy but this time has a slightly more rootsy production. On both, Natasha's whole approach simply leaves me wanting to hear a lot more. I'll be getting my spies down under to hunt for more of Ms Barrington's work because this single has me interested.

I had this CD since 98 or 99 when I first heard her play at Parachute still in my top ten

This is a must have single. It is catchy and easy to relate to. I would love to hear some more of Natasha's music.
