Here we find Steve's arrangements of classic hymns set to videoscape, in which we are promised "panoramic scenes of the Creator's handiwork...in this inspiring devotional video." I think we have here the result of some muddled thinking. As each hymn begins, we get the promised panorama but then, as Steve Green starts to sing we see... Steve Green. And that's what it is, mostly; Steve by the cliff's edge, Steve in the cornfield, Steve holding the lamb. He may be a good looking chap, but I do not find 40 minutes of watching Steve Green sing hymns either inspiring or devotional. No one seriously doubts the importance of good visuals to help us in our worship, but a little more thought on what precisely 'good visuals' are might be needed in this case
