Chris Mountford spoke with Lloyd Cooke about a major transformation conference taking place in June

Continued from page 1

Lloyd: There are a number of leaders including Jonathan Oloyede, who is known well as the convenor of the Global Day of Prayer. He's from London. Ian Cole from Birmingham who is involved in something called the World Prayer Centre. A friend of mine from London called Matt Bird who runs the Cinnamon Trust, which is all about how do we release Christians to be involved with Christian social enterprise and a number of other leaders as well.

Chris: When is this taking place?

Lloyd: It's taking place on 25th - 27th June. It's taking place at the Bridge Centre, which is up in Birches Head and we are hoping and praying that lots of people from around the nation will come, but what I'm really hoping is that lots of Christians and interested folk from Stoke-on-Trent will also take advantage of something like this being right on their doorstep.

Chris: Is it geared towards people who are leaders of churches or is it for people of Christian faith in general?

Lloyd: Well it's both. We'd expect Christian leaders to come. We expect Christians who are involved in leadership positions out in the marketplace in the world, but this is the sort of event that is really there for anyone; anyone who thinks I'm really interested in how you might change a city, a nation, or my community and wants to know more about what God is saying. It's really for anyone. This isn't just for leaders because I think what God wants to see is all Christians making a difference in their world.

Chris: It sounds fantastic. Where can people find out the details and book?

Lloyd: All the details are on the Saltbox website which is www.saltbox.org.uk or you can phone the Saltbox head office on 01782 207200. CR
