Original Prayer

Lord you had a firm grip on my heart, but it feels like you have let go, I know that it is me that has turned away. I can feel you still there, but it feels like I'm watching you on a TV screen and forget about it everytime I wander away to do something different, and only pay attention when I have nothing better to do. Lord I am so sorry help me to make you my centre, I need and want you in my life, I want you to BE my life, but I am so easily distracted, please go with me and stay with me all the time, and give me a little poke whenever I ignore you. Fire me up with your spirit and inspire me like you used to, I am yours. Amen

Bless you Jen you are not so far from God as you maybe feel, He will even now pour out awesome blessings upon you Jen, those things that distract you will fad away and He the Lord Jesus Christ will remain. Lord Jesus I lift Jen to you draw her near to you, let her feel the closeness of a loving Father, let her be smothered by your awesome and powerful Holy Spirit, I ask this in the name of Our Lord Jesus Amen
