Original Prayer

I have turned my back on God and have lost my desire to attend church. When I go I feel empty. What can I do? Please help

Lord please bless Neil with your presence. Draw him close to you again and give him a desire to read your word. Give him a passion for you Lord that's so real. Let him soar with you Lord, help him experience freedom. Show him anything that might be creating distance between you. Amen

Neil bless you for your honesty and I pray that God will plant in you again that desire for Him. I believe He is beginning to do that by the fact that you've written your prayer request here and I know from my own experience that God is faithful and in my times of wandering has brought me home to Him Lord Jesus I lift Neil to you and pray that you would kindle afresh that desire for you in Neil. Please bring him back home to you and pray you would bless him abundantly. I pray you would put the right people in his life to bring him back to you and that you would find him a church that would help him to be excited about you again. I thank you that Neil is precious and honoured in your sight and that he is always in your thoughts

Dear Neil I will pray for you my friend but also wanted to say that often when we focus our relationship with God through a church sadly we can end up dissapointed, make your focus God himself, maybe its time to attended a new Church or maybe you have placed too much faith in people and not in the Lord, either way my friend know that God remains and has not changed nor hid himself from you, that which you knew once you need to rekindle. Lord Jesus thank you for Neil and his honesty, Lord draw him back to yourself and rekindle that fire that once burned, Lord please send your holy spirit upon Neil and let him know just how awesome you are and just how precious he is to you, I ask this in your awesome name Lord Jesus Christ Amen
