Original Prayer

lord, when will i hurt myself enough to justify my own existence? why do i have to find meaning in screwing myself up further? if only i had the courage to not remain sick. if only i can tell myself i don't need to punish myself anymore, and that what i've already been through is enough for me not to have to inflict any more damage on myself? i've had enough of feeling like this, at least i think i have. until something comes along to bring me face to face with myself and all the hurt, and then i blow it by destroying myself and those around me....

Father, I pray for this person toaday, that you will strengthen and comfort especially where they are experiencing pain and suffering. Lord you know the pain that this person has suffered and is suffering, and I pray today that they will know your presence is with them. Lord sometimes we cant understand why we do the things we do, but Lord you understand everything, and especially what this person is going through. I pray today that through their pain and suffering they will know that you are with them, that you will never leave them nor forsake them. Lord you've told us to claim victory over our circumstanses,and today I claim victory on behalf of this person and whatever they are going through at this time. I pray for these things, in your name Amen
