Original Prayer

done it again ... gone down the road of chatlines and inappropriate conversations with women off the lines. got found out again by my wife and now there is a great strain on the marriage. I want to hate the things I do, i am fed up of repeating the same sin again and again. I cant even pray for forgiveness as i feel like its a waste of time as i will only go back down the same road ... Please someone pray for me that I can be completely freed from the spirit of lust that snares me ... i feel so weak but i mustn't give up .... Yours in Christ

dear god, i just ask that you go before this addiction... one that i am so familiar with. Lord, please take your strong, steady hand, and gently place it over this marrige and situation. send your holy spirit to work in this man's life. remind him that only you have come to find him. that only You have come to pull him out. that only You hsve come to save him. and that only YOU have come to wrap Your arms around him. Remind him that no one will ever love him, like the way you do; Jesus, wrap Your arms around him. sanctify Him, and strengthen him. amen.

Thank you father for the desperation and the circumstances that lead me to hit bottom and truely want to be free of my addiction...I thank you for all who suffer in various stages of their addictions...and thank you for the humility to realize I could go back today if I don't put your world first...Thank you for giving me a spiritual defense against picking up again just for today...You are the one who cares about us and you see the need and suffering here...you can help and you will...Thank you that its for those who want it...and that comes as a gift from you in time as you will.

Jesus I pray that you will come in all of this situations . and take them all away today and always. Completely free Alex form them in your name sake. Free him from lust and herts. and weakness. God is whith you always and every day. his grace is enough. thank you jesus. Jesus can take all of our sins away. Amen.
