Original Prayer

I just wanted to lift up my son, who is in jail right now for his 4th DUI. His sentencing is tomorrow. During his time in jail, over 2 months now, he has given his heart to God. He has written me countless letters and I can see his growth, his desire to change, and his desire to grow closer to God in those letters. Lord, I lift him up to you, I pray that you will continue to wash him clean, heal him, and that he will continue to seek your face, now and when he is released from jail, out in the real world. I pray for strength for him, to endure whatever time the judge sets for him. That he will just continue seeking you and growing in your love, Lord. I know you are the healer, the protector, the provider, Lord. I have complete faith in you, and leave my son in your hands Father. In Jesus name, amen.

Dear Jesus, Thank you for saving Mary's son. Please start a burning desire in this young man's heart. A desire stronger than a burning fire. This desire should be to know You and to want to do Your will FOREVER. Father this young man can do great and wonderfull things for you whilst in prison. Please lead him so that his feelings for You will grow stronger every minute. Through this young man, other prisoners may become born again. Please give Mary strength and comfort and wipe away all her tears. In Jesus Name I pray. AMEN

Mary, I pray that God gives you and your son strength. I lift your son up to Jesus right now and pray that he will continue to grow in Him. I pray that your son will glorify God through this whole experience and that he continues to build up in his faith.
