The photograph of the single violin on the cover is a giveaway, as is the lack of any artists' names in the title. This is minimalist-classical-music to put it politely, or classics-on-the-cheap, to be less polite. Some of the great "tunes" in the classical repertoire are here, "Spring" from Vivaldi's 'Four Seasons', Beethoven's "Ode To Joy" and Bach's "Jesu, Joy Of Man's Desiring" and so on, but for the most part the small scale instrumental (there is no singing on the tape) arrangements and interpretations are musically pretty thin. On the whole, unless you are the manager of a supermarket on the lookout for some more muzak to play your customers, one to be avoided.
