Jonathan Allen describes this husband/wife duo's music as "acoustic guitar-based" while Allison Allen goes for "left-of-centre pop folk" though in truth there are plenty of electric guitars and punchy rhythm sections on this impressive debut. Jonathan is the worship leader at a church in Tennessee and this collection is really a modern worship set not dissimilar to the kind of thing the Vineyard songsmiths turn out. Excellent arrangements from some Nashville musicians and strong vocals make this an EP that simmers without quite igniting.
