"Beautiful Worship - Australia Worships Vol 1" is Kingsways attempt to jump onto the already overcrowded Aussie Worship bandwagon with a collection of tunes from Australia. A more apt title would have been 'Geoff Bullock Greatest Hits' since 13 of the 16 songs are written by the ex-Hillsong Worship meastro. The album contains all the usual Bullock favourites with the obvious inclusion of "Power Of Your Love" and the evergreen "Shout to the Lord" by Mrs Zschech. The CD is well produced, and although it lacks the raw energy of a live worship album, still has a wide appeal for both longstanding "Hillibillies" as well as new converts to the Aussie cause. Geoffs songs have an enduring quality that makes for a relaxing and enjoyable collection of tunes. However, if you are looking for a live worship CD that will "rock the flock" at the Friday Night youth rally you may be advised to look elsewhere. Otherwise, 'Beautiful Saviour' is a good buy!
